Together, we'll ensure that your ATX Antlers become an envy-inducing centerpiece in any room while standing tall as a testament to your impeccable taste in home decor.
Now let's jump right into antler care 101.
Where should you hang your mounted antlers?
1) UV rays can wreak havoc on your antlers. Ensure the rack stays out of direct sunlight, as sunlight will cause it to fade and possibly crack. 2)
Avoid mounting your antler art piece in a location where it might accidentally be bumped. 3) Keep your mounted deer antlers inside. Don’t place your antlers in areas with very high or very low humidity, or significant shifts in temperature and humidity – such as a garage or screened-in porch.
How to clean the antlers
Clean your prized ATX Antler mount with a soft cloth misted with a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar. Do not spray the mixture directly onto the mount itself. You do not want to saturate it, you need just enough to clean the dust off and have it stick to the cloth.
How to carry and store the mount when it's not in use
It's very important to carry the mount by the antlers. When it's not hanging, do not place it upside down or tilted against the wall as this will slowly loosen the antlers from the sculpted cap around the skull plate.
When not in use or preparing for a move, wrap the antlers and the mount place with a sheet and then bubble wrap and then pack it in a box with lots of packing material such as popcorn.
Store in a cool dark place free from bugs.
